ESG, environmental impact and blue carbon

We help companies and institutions turn coastal projects —seaweed farming, restocking and partnerships with artisanal fishers— into measurable environmental and social impact aligned with their ESG commitments.

What's included

  • Definition of the project's environmental and social metrics.
  • Baselines and monitoring protocols.
  • Alignment with corporate ESG strategies and reporting.
  • Technical groundwork for blue-carbon development in pilot stages.
  • Partnership design with artisanal fisher organizations and fair benefit-sharing.

Blue carbon and macroalgae

Blue carbon is the carbon captured by marine and coastal ecosystems. Seaweed farms and kelp beds are one of the pathways under study. In the Los Vilos Bay project we included environmental metrics and a blue-carbon baseline as a regional ESG contribution.

Frequently asked questions

Can seaweed farms generate carbon credits?

It's an emerging field and methodologies are still evolving. That's why we focus on technical groundwork and pilots with measurable metrics, without promising credits that are not yet verifiable.

What kind of companies do you work with on ESG?

Companies looking for real territorial-impact projects on Chile's North-Central coast, in partnership with coastal communities.
